Dear Ceramic Forum Co., Ltd. (CFC) customers,
share holders, and visitors of our web-site,
Time flies like an arrow! Next year, August 2011, CFC will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Just in the beginning of last April, our partners, Glass Service Inc., and STG GmbH had their 20th anniversary. I sincerely congratulated them on their anniversary and sent my younger colleague to their parties.
Their company histories are similar as both their founders worked for national TV-panel (CRT) manufacturers in former Czechoslovakia and in East Germany during communist times without knowing each other. After the fall of the Iron Curtain in 1989, these 2 communist TV panel producers were defeated by the advanced western producers and bankrupted in 1990. Founder of Glass Service, Dr. Josef Chmelar and founders of STG, Dr. Frank Hegewald, Peter Hemmann and Helmut Heelemann started up their own companies in April 1990.
Now they are now coincidentally cooperating with each other to start up a joint venture called Flammatec for promoting a new burner system for glass furnaces. CFC is very proud to cooperate with Glass Service, STG and their JV, Flammatec.
The majority of our business activities involves glass, power-devices and renewable energy cooperating with our European partners from the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary and Sweden.
CFC now emphasizes on power electronics technology and on the market for saving energy and reducing CO2 emissions. I’m looking forward to gaining new business opportunities with those of you visiting us on our web-site.
Best regards,
Iwao Kato
